The world is an ocean of faiths and belief systems, all vying among themselves, some of them trying to prove their superiority or supremacy over the others. Atheism also can be seen trying its level best to influence the thinking of people much comparably to any religious faith. It is this aggressive pursuit of faiths that has perpetrated the most of violence on mankind. It continues even today though mankind boasts of being civilized.
The individual who seeks the ultimate truth is often bewildered by the multiplicity of paths around him. It is this bewilderment that is utilized by most preachers. And one may see how aggressively they use their best resources to win over others with comparisons and interpretations, mostly, of quotes or adages, taken out of their original contexts. Most teachers try to interpret truths they have finally been blessed with, through their own perspective and thus doing little help to their followers.
It is here that the futility of all teachings should be examined. Because enlightenment is a gift of the Divine and it cannot be earned through any effort, for that matter. None reaches the ultimate goal as a result of his or her effort. It is a false feeling that one reaches his goal through his effort. It is the most significant and singular difference between a physical and spiritual reality. The former can be quantified and assessed whereas the latter is a sheer blessing that should occur as a result of Divine Grace!
But most enlightened people who turn out to become spiritual masters come up with teachings based on what they experience as a result of the blessing they have received. They mostly ask their followers to love all as they find it easy and natural to feel love and joy, silence and bliss! What they experience has come to them as a result of the blessing of God, not as a result of the effort.
Why so? Because “effort” demands someone to make effort. So the “I” is present in all efforts. But when all efforts fail to yield the desired result, the earnest urge in the deepest corner of the heart gives way to utter helplessness and, in a moment of despair ego vanishes and the pure consciousness awakens. It is this moment that God waits for to shower the choicest of all His blessings! So, it is absolutely meaningless to try to teach spirituality to anyone. So the truth that gets revealed to one will not be the truth for another. This proves why the age old Puranas and the sacred texts like the Gita, the Bible, the Koran, the Zend Avesta et al has not been able to bring lasting peace to our miserable world.Again this is why beloved AmmaBhagavan says, “Truth unless it becomes yours, is untrue.”
It is here that the most potent Divine blessing of beloved AmmaBhagavan finds its relevance. Through a single touch on the crown, the deeksha transforms one from an illiterate to a saint capable of talking volumes like any great spiritual master. Once you go to the Oneness University, you shall come across many such wonderfully blessed beings enjoying the bliss of deeksha! Even the nomenclature “deeksha” was used in a different sense for the first time by beloved Bhagavan.
In the ancient Indian tradition, “deeksha” meant ritualistic initiation to an individual under a master as a disciple for undergoing a long course in spirituality. But Bhagavan uses it in a very different sense meaning the transfer of Divine Energy that has an innate intelligence of its own to an individual. Now, the Energy works on its own on the various brain lobes, moderating their activities to achieve the most coveted result of enlightenment. Most wonderfully, there is no teaching involved in it. Whatever is given to the seekers through sessions are meant to help them to understand what happens to them, not to give a list of do’s and don’ts. That is why with such alarming simplicity, beloved Bhagavan says, “I am not a teacher. I am only a technician.”
My beloved Bhagavan, we bow to You in deep gratitude for the way You have blessed hundreds and thousands of seekers who accept all paths with equal respect and open mindedness. The supreme realization of Oneness makes it possible for us not to draw comparisons and also not to prove one’s superiority over the other but to spread the basic awareness in the highest interest of the entire humanity! Thank You, beloved Amma! Thank You, beloved Bhagavan!
Koti koti pranaams at Your Lotus Feet, my beloved Divine Parents!

Contemplative Questions
Here is a set of questions that would provoke you and put you through some soul searching. They are not about religion nor about ethics. They are merely about you.
They are not meant to serve as solutions nor are they meant to lead you anywhere. These questions are meant to serve as tools to discovering yourself.
1) Do you perceive the Presence of a benevolent force guiding, protecting and shaping your life? What name do you give that Presence? When did you best feel this Presence?
2) What is your opinion of God? Is your opinion drawn from religion, books, parents and or your personal experience of life?
3) Do you pray? Do they get answered? How often?
4) Do you think it is possible to relate to the Divine? What relationship would you opt?
5) Here is a story for you - Two fierce enemies once did a penance to placate god and receive boons vying with each other. God appeared to the first man and asked what he wanted. He said "give me twice of whatever you give my enemy". Then God appeared to the second one. Even before God could say anything he asked, "God, would you please tell me what my enemy asked for? On knowing his prayer request, he said, "then God, blind me in one eye."
Now what would you wish for yourself, your best friend and your worst enemy if God gave you a chance?
6) Have you ever experienced a coincidence or chance that seems to have involved so many people and factors that you can't stop wondering if a mastermind was behind this operation? If yes, do you savour the experience often and have you shared it with someone close to you?
