Discovering Causeless Love and Limitless Joy Sri Bhagavan Answers

Sri Bhagavan on Discovering Causeless Love and Limitless Joy

Question: Sri Bhagavan to discover causeless love and limitless joy?
What should I do to discover causeless love and limitless joy?

Answer:
One of the most important teachings of the dharma is that the content is not important. How you experience the Content that is important. What ever is happening in your life, you must learn the art of experiencing it. That is the true 'art of living'. The true art of living is to experience fully, totally and completely whatever is going on.

So, mostly what is going on is human interactions, your friends, your relatives, your boss, your children and your family. You are all the time interacting with them because life is relationship. Without relationship you don't exist. So, in this relationship you are transacting some kind of interaction. You may get hurt, you may get provoked, and you may get back some memories, all these are happening.

Whatever is happening, if you can experience fully, as I was speaking earlier, then you will find there is limitless joy. Now, what happens when there is so much joy? It doesn't stop there. It becomes love. Only a happy and joyous person can truly love. An unhappy person cannot love. That love is nothing but attachment, possession...true love comes only when there is true joy and true joy comes only when you experience what ever is going on inside. It is not very difficult.

Practice this for 21 days, if you keep trying it will become natural. What is not natural, what is not easy, I don't teach. There is no point in teaching that. Only what you can do I am teaching. The brain must learn a new pattern of functioning. It takes 21 days for that. After 21 days of practice you will find it becomes easy. It becomes like alcoholic addiction or drug addiction. Why are you addicted? Because it gives you so much joy or happiness or freedom. Same thing happens here also. Only thing is there are no negative side effects. There are very good effects on the other hand. You discover love, compassion. All these things happen.

So basically you must start with pain. You hold that pain like you hold a newborn baby. So carefully you must hold that pain you must know that it is a blessing. You must hold it, you must not condemn or judge it and strangely you'll find it is very painful. It will become pain in the chest region but slowly you'll find, you'll discover a freedom, joy and that will become love.
That is the way to get this causeless love and limitless joy.

Thank you Bhagvan for this great teaching.

Aum Satchidanand Parbramha
Purushottam Parmatma
Shree Bhagawati Samet
Shree Bhagawate Namah.

Overcome Big Obstacles that Appear Near Success

Are there times when it almost seems like you are finally going to reach your goal, but then something shows up in the way and puts it out of reach once again or makes you feel that you are never going to get it? The truth is you are never closer to your dreams than when you are facing a big obstacle that threatens to push you further away than ever before. The reason why that obstacle shows up is because you are just about to grasp what you really want at last.

Just when you thought that the way is finally open for you, just when you thought you are finally getting your breakthrough. Then what you experience next causes you to be disappointed once again. Because the results that got is far less than what you expected. Or things might even appear worse in some ways than before. It can put you into such distress and frustration because you don’t know what else to do to make it work.

The reason why darkness appear, is to allow you to experience the light even more. You can’t feel like light when you are surrounded by light. The time you never felt more like light is when you are in the midst of darkness. Opposites make each other. Light and darkness define each other. Success and failure define each other. You can never fully know something without knowing its opposite.

Whenever you create a dream, the universe will bring in opposing circumstances, not to deter you from achieving the dream, but to allow you to experience the fullness of that dream. If you set a goal to be abundant, you may start experiencing situations of lack. This is so that you will be able to experience what abundance really means, and to show the world that you really can make it into being abundant even against the appearance of lack.

Practical Steps to Increase your Success Consciousness

Practical Steps to Increase your Success Consciousness
In terms of success, background and education are not deciding factors. Your ability to continuously focus your mind on positive thoughts, however, is the key factor for success. By positive thoughts we mean a focus on what you'd like to achieve rather than what you can't see or don't have in your life.

There are several powerful techniques that you can use immediately as you embark on your journey of having positive thinking patterns guide you to whatever it is you want to achieve. The effectiveness of these techniques depends on continuous and repetitive exposure to positive messages that trigger positive thoughts.
Create a positive environment

First of all, it is important that you create a positive work and home environment. What are the areas where you spend most of your time during the day? Is it an office, a kitchen, a study, a factory etc.? Is the environment where you spend a lot of your time a motivating place filled with positive messages? Does it inspire you to be creative and have positive thoughts?
For example, if you spend most of your day in an office in front of a computer, install inspiring screensavers or desktop backgrounds. Decorate your walls with inspiring pictures. Have pictures of significant and successful moments on your desk. All these "things" around you affect your thoughts. Make sure that the places you spend most of your time trigger positive thoughts. Once you've established a positive environment, you'll see these your positive messages on a continuous and repetitive basis.

Expose Yourself to Positive and Inspiring Information

A lot has been written about the effects of our thinking on our life. By now many people know that in some way or another, their thinking affects their life. We hear things like: "Think positive. As you think, so shall you be. You can choose to see the glass half empty or half full". Does this sound familiar? And yet, how many people, maybe including yourself, have you encountered who you would truly classify as "positive thinkers"? Probably not too many, right? As soon as we get up in the morning we usually get busy doing things and let our thoughts flow freely as the day unfolds. The amount of information our brain processes in a day is unbelievable. Therefore, it is not easy to constantly monitor our thoughts and make sure they are always positive. We can make a true difference, however, when we consciously chose to expose ourselves to positive, inspiring and uplifting information. Minimize the time you spend processing negative information. Ask yourself what kind of books are you reading, or what kind of programs are you watching on TV. Are they inspiring, encouraging and positive, or do they expose you to information that decreases your energy level?

Affirmations

Affirmations are a wonderful and effective tool to focus your mind on positive thoughts. The best way to use affirmations is to write down what you want to achieve. The important thing is that you write it in the first person, present tense as if it had already taken place. For example: "I am earning $ 50,000. I live in a red two story brick house with an ocean view from my bedroom window." Be as specific as you can in your description. Read your affirmation(s) several times a day.

Visualization

This technique is often used by athletes. It's all about seeing yourself succeeding. Visualization is most effective if you define a few moments each day where you can be at a quiet place without distractions. As you close your eyes, you visualize what it's like to see your goal fulfilled. As you do this ask yourself "What does it look like, how do I feel about it, what does it smell like etc.?" It is like a movie sequence that you keep playing and refining in your mind until it becomes and feels real. Repeat this exercise several times each day.

Affirmations combined with Visualization

The combination of both affirmation and visualization is an extremely strong tool. If you can both say your affirmations to yourself and visualize the achievement of your affirmation at the same time you actually multiply the effectiveness of both tools.

Success Conversations

Each day many of us spend a fair amount of time in transit from place A to B and back. Think about all the time you either spend in your car or public transportation on your way to work and back, the time you invest taking your children to school and back etc. You may want to use this time constructively to increase your success consciousness by having "success conversations" with yourself. You can do this by imagining a situation where you've already achieved your goal and now tell others about it. Say your goal was to lose 20 pounds and be in great physical shape. Your conversation then could be "You know Mary, I just decided to lose 20 pounds and work out on a regular basis and it really didn't take me too long to reach that goal. I now just feel like a new person and get so many compliments on my achievement." Be creative in your success conversations. If your goal is to start your own business, imagine yourself talking to your employees about the stellar results your company just achieved, or see yourself giving an interview to a business news reporter about the success of your company. "Success conversations" is a very powerful in focusing your mind on success. Again, the key is continuity and repetition.

Prayers

Whatever your faith of spiritual orientation may be, prayers are excellent and proven means to materialize your goals. By praying we are asking our creator for help in achieving our objectives. Praying is most effective because it is often connected with a strong faith or belief system. The actual belief in that "As you ask, you shall receive" will drive our thinking patterns and actions to the realization of our goals. Since many people pray each day before they go to bed, it is easy to establish a daily routine.

Talk to your subconscious mind

Whichever of the above tool, or combination of tools, you chose to apply, from a timing perspective we strongly suggest that you also apply it / them right after you wake up and before you go to sleep. Many studies have proven that our subconscious mind is very receptive when we start relaxing before we fall asleep and right after we wake up in the morning. An interesting fact about our subconscious mind is that it unconditionally "believes" whatever we tell it. It is like a little machine in the background that just executes commands without questioning them. Therefore, if we succeed in reaching our subconscious mind with continuous, positive and constructive commands, it will automatically start executing and focus on the materialization of our goals.

Take Action

Last but not least it is incredibly important that we start taking action toward our goals. Often times we simply think that our goals are so out of reach that we don't even know where and how to start which then can lead to not taking any action at all. The good news is that it doesn't really matter how big our goals are. The simple fact that we take action, no matter how small, sends a very strong signal that we are actually in the process of realizing our goal. In other words, we are already moving in the direction of that goal. Remember "Every journey starts with one single step" - Confucius. Let' assume that you'd like to be independent and start your own business. This may appear to be a rather daunting task. However, even if you just start researching about the market, or take a business class at your community college, or think about a name for your business, there are always small but achievable steps where you can take action toward your goal. Remember, the "size" of your action does not matter. What matters most is that you do take action.

Take Decision Taking decision is most important tool. You should take a firm decision that you will put your efforts to become successful and you will put your attention towards success.

Conflicting Beliefs may Not Stop you from Success

Conflicting Beliefs may Not Stop you from Success
Have you ever wondered why two people seem to say the same things, have similar beliefs and ways of seeing things but one fails while the other succeeds? What is happening here? What enables a person to truly achieve something that he desires?

Here’s the insight – it is about having a strong set of coherent beliefs (beliefs that support one another) that override all other beliefs.

The successful person has that, while the unsuccessful one does not. They both have similar beliefs but they don’t have exactly all the same beliefs as each other. It is not possible and it isn’t necessary either. What matters is that they both have the key set of beliefs that relates to the successful or unsuccessful achievement of the goal in focus.

So when we talk about the same goal that two different people want to achieve, they both need to have the same set of beliefs that are coherent and stronger than other conflicting beliefs. Otherwise one will fail while the other succeeds. read on Conflicting Beliefs may Not Stop you from Success

Overcoming Deep Rooted Negative Beliefs

There are times when faced with a focused problem involving two contradicting believes, despite your efforts to eliminate the negative one, you can’t seem to succeed because there is a sense of ‘wrongness’ to question the justification of that belief.

You understand that to move on you must overcome it but you can’t seem to do so because it has always been in your experience of reality. You try focusing on the positive belief only but at the mean time the negative emerges into your awareness too. So how to remove such a deep-rooted belief?

The presence of conflicting beliefs doesn’t necessarily stop you from achieving success. In the event of conflicting beliefs, the stronger ones will always override the weaker ones. It is your dominant beliefs that have the true authority over your reality creation.Just watch at the negative one very closely without condeming.Only listening carefully to your inner disturbances can take you there and only Amma Bhagavan can help you in reaching there. So ask them to take you there.

You may not be able to get rid of the negative beliefs completely immediately and you don’t have to. Change happens over time. What matters is which are the thoughts you hold in your mind more consistently than the rest. Ultimately it is all a matter of focus.

All you need to do is that you have to focus on positive belief while watching carefully the negative belief without fighting with it.

"Whatever you judge, condemn and resist in the inner world persists both internally and externally".

Healing Relationship Problems by Acharya Sri Anandagiriji

Healing Relationship Problems by Acharya Sri Anandagiriji: When having relationship problems, you need to actually start opening up to yourself, because there is a very major part of ourselves that we're not aware of. What we have failed to see about ourselves is a major portion of our lives, and that has to be unveiled and has to be experienced.

Amma Bhagavan's grace will help you unveil it and help you experience it.

People also must know that they're not being subjected to a punishment or some kind of mental torture. It is more like a healing process to help them. This knowledge can help you to actually experience the whole process without resisting or fighting it.

Every time you go through a relationship problem, you actually get to see more of yourself. It's not that you're getting to see something about the other person, you're only getting to see that side of you that is hurt, that which wants love, which wants attention, which cannot forgive, which is not accepted, which feels rejected. It is these things that you are getting to see about yourself when going through a relationship problem.

It is something that you have to process through, otherwise how long can this be kept swept under the carpet--how long can this be suppressed? You have to let Divine Grace put you through this.

Please know full well that you are not being judged or condemned by the Divine when you're being put through such a process. You are only being helped. This is a healing process to help you grow in relationship with the Divine, and grow in love and joy.

As you start accepting all this within yourself, you are truly finally accepting the other person also. All of us tend to think that talking with the other person, or reasoning with them, or applying some principle is going to help us. That is not the truth. You can only know and accept the resistance you have to that relationship.

When you say you have a relationship problem, please understand that you are not having a problem with the relationship or the other person, you are only having a problem within yourself. You are only having a problem accepting all this reality about yourself--that you may be a person who craves attention, who has still not forgiven, who feels guilty about your past, or who is unable to stop hating someone, etc.

The other person is immaterial, and who he or she is isn't what is making you uncomfortable. How you experience him or her within you is the cause of your relationship problem. And that is what has to be experienced. So in every crisis you are only getting to see more of yourself. It has nothing to do with the other person.

As you start facing the truth of your own resistance, it starts the melting of it under the heat of your awareness.

Growing in Relationship with God

Growing in Relationship with God – II

The greater be our relationship with God, the greater is the grace we get from God. One of the ways to have a greater relationship is by speaking to God very often. Another way to go close to him is to relate and understand that each coincidence in our life is because of God.

Through out our day, we relate to so many people. For example, we say 'my son came first in the class today. My father presented me with a new vehicle. My wife cooked my favorite dish. My boss praised my work. My servant did a bad work today. My colleagues did not co-operate with me' and so on.

So also we relate to so many things. I have my new car now. My house has been painted. My shirt is bad. My refrigerator is working very well. I have to repair my vehicle. My new coat got stained and so on.

When we relate to someone, we always say, 'he is my friend or she is my wife or he is my father or she is my servant or he is my boss' and so on. When we relate to things we say, 'my house, my dress, my vehicle, my slippers/shoes' and so on. If you observe our above statements, there is one common factor lying in them. What is it? Everywhere we say, 'My this and My that'. This is exactly what we call as 'relating to things and people'.

Now, when we talk about God, what happens? We say Jesus said that, Krishna is like that, Shiva did that and so on. We talk as though God is somewhere outside our world - not in touch with us. We talk of a common God not related to us individually and personally. While going to a temple, we do not say, 'I am visiting my Krishna, my friend today' or while going to church we do not say, 'I am going to see Jesus, my God'. Why we do not say so? Is it because God is common to all?

Now let us take this example. The mother of a child says to her neighbor "you know, my son came first in class today". The father of the same child says to his colleague, "today my son got his report and he stands first". The grandparents of the same child say "my grandson stood first in class". All the three are relating to the same single child with great love. Does that child become many really? No.

Similarly there is only One God, the creator, to whom each of us can relate and relish and love and enjoy. The problem is that we have kept God as common and therefore we have not related to Him individually and personally the way we do in other relationships. Relationship with God actually begins when we start relating to Him as 'MINE'. This is what we mean as relating to God.

We relate ourselves to all people, from boss to servant, and to all things from house to slippers, but have totally forgotten to relate to God who is taking care of us every minute of the day. Yet, we sometimes blame and complain that God has not helped us in this and that event or God has not listened to our prayer. Is this justified? Think.

What does God feel about us? Does He really long for our relationship with Him? You will get the answers if you read the following letter from God to you.

Letter from God

My Dearest Child,

As you got up this morning, I watched you and hoped you would talk to Me, even if it was just a few words, asking my opinion or thanking me for something good that happened in your life yesterday. But I noticed you were busy trying to find the right outfit to wear. When you ran around the house, getting ready, I knew there would be a few minutes for you to stop and say Hello, but you were busy.

At one point, you had to wait 15 minutes with nothing to do except sit in a chair. Then I saw you spring to your feet. I thought you wanted to talk to me but you ran to the phone and called a friend because you were feeling bored and had nobody to talk to!!!! I watched patiently all day long. With all your activities, I guessed you were too busy to say anything to Me. I noticed that before lunch you looked around. You glanced three or four tables over and you noticed some of your friends talking to me briefly before they ate, but you did not. Maybe you felt embarrassed to talk to Me, that was why you did not bow your head. That was all right. There was still more time left and I hope you would talk to Me yet.

You went home and it seemed as if you had lots of things to do. After a few of them were done, you turned on the television. I did not know if you liked television or not. You watched anything that went in it. You spent time each day in front of it, not thinking of Me at all. I waited patiently again as you watched television and ate your meal. But again you did not talk to Me.

At bedtime, I guessed you felt too tired. After you said goodnight to your family, I thought you would wish me goodnight too but you plopped into bed. Atleast when you did not get sleep, I thought you would think of me but NO - you were thinking and planning for the next day!!! That was all right. Because you did not realise that I was always there for you.

I have got patience, more than you will ever know. I love you so much that I wait everyday for a nod, prayer, smile, thought or a thankful part of your heart. It is hard to have a one sided conversation.

Well, you are getting up once again tomorrow, and once again I will wait for you with nothing but LOVE, hoping that one day you will give Me some time!!!!!

Your Friend,

GOD.

Your Body Is Not Your Body Love it

" Your body is not your body" - Sri Amma Bhagavan
"Your body is not yours and do not abuse it" - Sri Bhagavan
Your body is just a temporary gift given to you by god.It comes from the nature and goes back to the nature. As long as it carries you, you can say that it is yours.Your body is like a vehicle which carries you.Do not abuse your body.Similarly do not abuse others' body.

The moment your soul gets separated from the body, it is no longer yours as it goes back to the nature. The same truth applies to others also. Therefore show respect to your body as well as other person's body.

Acharya Sri Samadarshiniji said that those who dislike their body will be showing tendency to attract negative things in life like failures, choosing wrong life partners etc.The same thing is applicable when we dislike other person's body.
See full size image
Only accepting is the available option because " Acceptance is the bedrock for all spiritual growth" and the moment you start accepting, you attract happiness and joy more and more into your life and hence "Happiness is the index of growth" .

Sadhana
For example, if you dislike your tummy, then just touch it and say "How are you".

We should have emotional bond with Bhagwan

Question - What is the easiest way to get your grace and how would you like your Bhaktas to be?
Answer by Sri Bhagwan - See, all that I want is, you have to just ask. When you ask you should not say simply - Bhagwan, Bhagwan...that is no use. How do you see Bhagwan - that is the question. Do you see him as a father or a brother or a friend or a son, whatever you want you have to put it in that framework and then there must be that actual feeling that you have towards your father and brother, know. The same feeling must be there. Thereafter it can either be a prayer or it can be an asking or a command, anything, that's not so important.
But is there a bond? You might be very good people but if you don't have a bond you don't get it. So, bond is the secret, emotion should be there. When we say there is a bond, what we mean is there is emotion. Emotion is the telephone line between you and Bhagwan. If there is no emotion, the telephone line is cut. It doesn't work well.

Bhagvan Says To Forgive to be Forgiven

The following was published in the Krupa Darshan, December 2001 Pancharatnas - The Five Jewels - Part II' To Forgive to be Forgiven by Parama Pujya Sri Akshayamati Bhagavad Dasaji

In one of the Mahavakyas Sri Kalki Bhagavan says, "If you suffer and forgive, you shall abide in Me and I shall abide in you and your human nature shall become Divine"

Religions and seers from times immemorial have been stressing on the importance of forgiveness in attaining spiritual growth. It has been people's timeless discovery that if you fight fire with fire, you can only end up with ashes. However, people have hardly understood what "forgiveness" really meant and the importance of its actual implementation in everyday life. Further more, in the highly competitive and achievement oriented world of today, man can be pardoned if he takes the whole concept of forgiveness to be too esoteric for his colloquial comprehension. Everybody feels that it is something very extraordinary.

It is at such a time that Sri Bhagavan reveals the know-how and the mystery behind forgiveness in the simplest of manners ever explained, probably in the entire history of mankind. Let us now explore this.....

What is Forgiveness?

An internal "happening", where, you no more carry the pain or the hurt that someone has caused you. There is no inner judgement, condemnation or a feeling of taking revenge (even at the thought level). The incident or the person does not keep haunting you. There is only understanding and love when you remember or see that person, not any kind of malice or hatred. You are totally at peace.

One has to understand "To forgive does not mean to forget". In short, the person is no more controlling you.

Why should we Forgive?

There are many that refuse to forgive. They feel an act of forgiveness from a person implies being weak and afraid. And that, when other people know of this, they would take you for a ride. Fortunately, this is not true!!!! So, let us now understand the necessity of forgiving and what happens when forgiveness is absent in our lives.

1. Sri Bhagavan says in one of His Mahavakyas:

"Remember, every time we met, I judged you as a friend, but did not sit in judgement over you. You passed judgement over yourself even as you passed judgement over others. Not able to forgive yourself, you sought repentance, not able to forgive others, you sought revenge. Thus, you have been caught up in the cycle of births and deaths. On my part, I have been keeping my word".

As we see in this Mahavakya, we are caught up in the cycle of births and deaths on account of our inability to forgive, both others and ourselves. This world is a school designed for our learning; we have to repeat our visits on earth if we fail to learn and evolve.

2. If we don't forgive, we carry the other person in us and he/she is controlling our lives though we are physically faraway. We are not able to forget the situation or the person. Whatever we might be doing, the past keeps continuously haunting us and as a result we loose peace of mind and are not able to carry on our works efficiently. In a way there occurs "failure of intelligence".

3. Also, when you have an intense charge, strangely, you meet the same kind of people wherever you go, until and unless the charge is gone. For example: "A" hates people who are angry and very critical (he has a charge). In his life he will meet people who are short tempered and critical. So, until you have completed your learning, life keeps throwing similar situations or people.

4. As the external world is only a reflection of the internal world, intense feelings like hurt or hatred result in financial problems, health problems and failures in life.

5. And lastly, even Sri Bhagavan cannot give us grace as our hearts are filled with hatred and have no space for the Divine Grace to flow though Sri Bhagavan very much wants to help us.

Knowing the grave loss we incur with lack of forgiveness, one will understand the necessity of forgiveness. For, wherever there is forgiveness, miracles are natural happenings. The doors of Grace are opened. (However, one should not do it in the expectation of a miracle).

How to Forgive?

By EXPERIENCING the pain or hurt in its totality. Not by escaping it, justifying it, being indifferent to it, etc., but by experiencing the pain just as it is. To experience the pain, one has to relate to it in all its rawness and nakedness. It is there and that is it. Absolutely no excuses or justification for it's presence in our lives. It is only in such a perspective that we actually EXPERIENCE the pain. In this process, the paid would disappear and forgiveness "happens". Hence, forgiveness is a happening when you experience the pain fully.

Rajat is deeply hurt. His teacher was very harsh on him today, when he failed to give a correct answer at the inter-school quiz contest. Rajat felt that he had tried his best, but luck was not with him. Rather than understand him, his teacher was behaving rudely and insensitively to him.

Self-pity overpowered Rajat. He really felt what was happening was very unfair on him. He tried to pinpoint exact reasons why his teacher was behaving this way towards him. Was it because someone was poisoning the teacher's ears against him? Was his teacher unforgiving because Rajat had not responded to his teacher's suggestion that he take tuitions from her? Or was it because the teacher was favouring his archrival at class, Milind? So many thoughts came into Rajat's mind.

What was the Consequence?

The normally alert and sharp Rajat began to lose concentration in his class. He became hypersensitive and irritable. He was constantly depressed and low in energy. He was miserable and unhappy. He tried to forget the event, but it seemed to come back to him with greater venom. He seemed to be getting caught in a vicious "chakravyuh".

Now, suppose that Rajat understood Sri Bhagavan's Mahavakya on forgiveness, let us see how he would behave.

When the teacher scolded him, he was hurt. Instead of indulging in self-pity, blaming the teacher, reacting or suppressing the feelings, he sees the fact that he is hurt and experiences the pain completely. As he is experiencing the hurt, he feels terrible; he might also weep and his chest might pain, but as he experiences the hurt totally, the pain goes to a peak and lo and behold the pain vanishes and forgiveness happens. There is no residue left and hence Rajat is able to respond to the situations without any prejudice, judgement or pre-conceived notions.

Let us look at another example. Once a devotee of Sri Bhagavan was preparing dinner for some guests. As she had to go out on some important work, she told the servant maid to prepare the dough using the mixer. Unfortunately, by the time she came back she found the rubber of the mixer burnt and the preparations half-ready. She was terribly upset and angry at the servant maid's negligence. She was about to yell and even beat up the maid when she suddenly realized the mahavakya of "forgiveness". She immediately sat down and started experiencing the hurt and anger in her, continuously praying to Sri Amma and Sri Bhagavan to give her the strength to experience. As she fully experienced the pain (remember, it is not indulgence), the pain vanished and in its place there was only joy and a feeling of strange love for the maid. She went up to the maid and told her to be careful the next time and asked her to get it repaired. Unfortunately, it was a festive day with all the shop establishments remaining closed. So she just went to the kitchen, praying to Sri Bhagavan in abject helplessness. To her amazement, the mixer started working. It was a Miracle!!!

In just the same, we come across innumerable situations where we are hurt. We are unable to suffer (experience) our situations totally. Strangely, however, everybody feels he/she is suffering the pain. Sri Bhagavan tells us that what we perceive as suffering is usually our attempt to run away from the pain. If we learn to "suffer" correctly, it is in the nature of creation that forgiveness has to occur.

At this juncture, one might ask, shouldn't we be practical. Say, somebody cheats Gaurav, is it that Gaurav has to simply suffer and forgive! Sri Bhagavan says forgiveness is an internal process. It should not be confused with the practical actions one may have to take, in the external world.

What Gaurav needs to do is to experience the hurt and anger within him. As he experiences, he comes to peace with himself and hence would spontaneously respond to the external situation without any inner grudge or judgement. One has to remember that any action coming out of hurt or judgement can only lead to more miserable situations. You don't respond; you only react or control your emotions.

Thus, while suffering a situation internally, one can be very functional in the external world as well. It is not enough if you know this intellectually. The teaching has to be implemented in your real lives.

Remember, Sri Bhagavan will never tell you to do this if it is impossible.

Initially, it may be a little difficult. Once you get the hang of its however, you will enjoy doing the same.

So don't just think about it. Do it now and here in every event that life blesses you with for your learning's and then witness the miracles unfold......

How Enlightenment is possible?

How Enlightenment is possible - Scientific Understanding on the Principle of Universe !!

Well..According to the living Mukti [1] Avatar [2], Sri Bhagavan, the ancient mind of humanity has been around for 11,000+ years. This ancient mind is the "group" mind that affects not only all human beings but also all living beings and all of nature.

The very name that is applied to Homo sapiens, the name human, which is normally abbreviated as man, has two roots. Hu means the divine resonance in the heart of man or the divine word and man means soil or thinking or mind. Thus we see that there are two primary influences in man, who has been created in the likeness and image of God. The one influence is the divine spark or the divine word, vibration, or sound (hu) which is anchored in the spiritual heart of man and the other main influence is the physical (soil) and mental (emotion, thinking or mind) nature of man.

Sir James Jeans, an English mathematician, physicist and astronomer who lived from 1877 to 1946, stated, "The universe begins to look more like a great thought than a great machine" and "The world is nothing but mind stuff." Seen in this light, it is this group mind of humanity that has had the greatest impact on the behaviour of human beings over the last 11,000 years.

The nature and qualities of this ancient group mind, at this particular stage of humanities evolution, have been dominated by fear, doubt, suspicion, grief, anxiety, anger, hatred, and separation. In a word, it may be said that currently this ancient mind is filled with darkness or a lack of spiritual light. Or we may say that over the last 11,000 years this ancient mind has been disconnected from or has overshadowed the spiritual heart of humanity and has almost completely been absorbed in material creation.

The ancients of many traditions, including Native Americans, Aborigines, the Maori, the Mayans and others clearly understood that man is not separate from nature. One quote from Chief Seattle will suffice:
"This we know; the earth does not belong to man; man belongs to the earth. This we know. All things are connected like the blood which unites one family."

A modern expression and understanding of this idea that everything in nature is connected comes through the scientific theories of morphogenesis as reported by Sheldrake, Gilman and McKenna. According to its founder and main proponent, the biologist Rupert Sheldrake, a morphogenetic field is similar to an electromagnetic field that carries information only, not energy, and is available throughout time and space without any loss of intensity after it has been created.

Morphogenetic fields are created by the patterns of physical forms. They help guide the formation of later similar systems where a newly forming system "tunes into" a previous system by having within it a "seed" that resonates with a similar seed in the earlier form.
Morphogenetic fields can be used to describe how human consciousness is shared. The Morphogenetic fields therefore play the main role in the idea that humanity at one point in time will go through a dramatic collective shift in consciousness. A shift that will happen when the critical mass for a shift is reached, for example, when a certain number of spiritually awakened individuals are reached.

In its present condition this ancient mind, because it has been disconnected from the spiritual heart has suffered due to its dark nature or its lack of spiritual light (ignorance).
The ignorance of the unenlightened mind has been the root cause of the World Wars (I, II) and the unusually large outpouring of violence recently seen around the world in Israel, Serbia, Africa, Afghanistan, New York City, Iraq and many other places.
This ignorance or unenlightened mind is also the root cause of the natural disasters across our planet most recently witnessed in the massive loss of more than 175,000 lives in the Boxing Day Asian earthquake/tsunami.

There is no one to blame for all this pain and suffering. This suffering is part of a cosmological cycle that has been expressing its predominantly darker aspects that result when mankind fails to comprehend its own spiritual nature. Enlightened individuals have provided the necessary counterbalance and relief for this tremendous pain and suffering endured by humanity. Before the light has fully dawned in a new Golden Age they have been few and far between.

A list not intended to be exhaustive, the Great Saviours of the world over this last 11,000 years of darkness, including what is known in Vedic cosmology as the present Kali Yuga [3] or dark age, have included the following spiritual lights from the eastern tradition: Rama, Krishna, Shiva, Buddha, Chaitanya, Ramakrishna, Babaji, Nanak, Bahaullah, Aurobindo, Ramana Maharshi, Chinmoy and others.
From the western tradition we have been graced with the presence of Melchizedek, Abraham, Solomon, Zoroaster, Moses, Jesus, Mohammed, Rumi, Hazrat Inayat Khan and others.

To gain a sort of mathematical perspective on the idea of how the level of consciousness of enlightened individuals affects the rest of creation, let's take a very brief look at David Hawkins scale of consciousness as reported in his book, Power Vs. Force.
Hawkins arrived at this measurement through kinesiological testing. Calibrations on his scale of consciousness range from 0 to 1000.
Hawkins states,
"Millions of calibrations over the years of this study have defined a range of values accurately corresponding to well-recognized sets of attitudes and emotions, localized by specific attractor energy fields, much as electromagnetic fields attract iron filings… The ways the various levels of consciousness express themselves are profound and far-reaching; their effects are both gross and subtle. All levels below 200 are destructive of life in both the individual and society at large; all levels above 200 are constructive expressions of power. The decisive level of 200 is the fulcrum that divides the general areas of force and power… 85% of humanity is below the critical level of 200, while the overall average level of human consciousness today is approximately 204… [As seen above, some] calibrations are 20 – Shame; 30 – Guilt; 50 – Apathy; 75 – Grief; 100 – Fear; 150 - Anger… The power of the relatively few individuals near the top counterbalances the weakness of the masses toward the bottom to achieve this overall average…

Great works of art depicting individuals who have reached the level of Enlightenment (700 and above) characteristically show the teacher with a specific hand position, called a mudra, wherein the palm of the hand radiates benediction.

This is the act of the transmission of this energy field to the consciousness of mankind. This level of divine grace calibrates up to 1000, the highest level attained by any persons who have lived in recorded history – to wit, the Great Avatars to whom the title "Lord" is appropriate: Lord Krishna, Lord Buddha and Lord Jesus Christ... Because the scale of power advances logarithmically, a single avatar at a consciousness level of 1000 can, in fact, totally counterbalance the collective negativity of all of mankind."
Before he left the planet in 1886, the Avatar Sri Ramakrishna stated that, "in the not too distant future Christs would grow like grapes on a vine, in clusters." Now we are here in 2005 and the phenomenon predicted by Sri Ramakrishna has begun to happen.
The husband and wife team of Sampoorna[4] Avatars, Sri Bhagavan and Sri Amma of Varadayapalem south India have already brought over 2000 people into a permanent fully functional state of enlightenment.

The state of Enlightenment[5] means freedom from this ancient mind and freedom from personal pain and suffering. Enlightenment is not a human achievement but is something that must be given to the individual by someone who is themselves enlightened.
It is their stated vision and mission to bring 64,000 people to enlightenment by 2012, the end date of the Mayan Calender. 64,000 enlightened people by 2012 will provide the critical mass to create a wave of mass enlightenment over a three-day period during the Venus transit of June 2012. During that period of the Venus transit it is believed that the magnetic core of the earth, which is associated with the group mind of humanity, will come to a zero point or 'stand-still'.

At or before that time, if there are 64,000 fully enlightened people on the earth, they will act as the critical mass or '100th Monkey' [6]to allow a wave of mass enlightenment to sweep over the earth and establish a new enlightened morphogenic field.
This mass enlightenment will mark the full establishment of the Golden Age or Sat Yuga, whose inauguration began here on earth in August 2003 according to Sri Bhagavan.
On a par with the Vedic cosmological understanding, the Mayan calendar provides an understanding of the evolution of human consciousness. The Mayan calendar is a 260-day cycle and each day has a different energy defined by 1 of 20 glyphs (or symbols) and 1 of 13 tones. (13 tones X 20 glyphs = 260 combinations.) This calendar comes to an end in December of 2012.

The very last glyph and tone, 13 Ahau, which is Yellow Cosmic Sun, is the symbol of enlightenment and has a frequency of 920 hertz (on a scale of 10-920). The hertz frequency is the actual musical frequency of a sacred sun. The higher the frequency, the more cosmic the person or day is.
Sri Bhagavan was born on March 7, 1949. According to the Mayan calendar, this means he is a Yellow Cosmic Sun -- the symbol of enlightenment.
He has a tone of 13, the highest tone, and a frequency of 920 the highest and most cosmic frequency.

The following quote is from The Mayan Calendar and the Transformation of Consciousness by Carl Johan Calleman, PhD.
"From the perspective of the Mayan calendar, certain aspects of this development in the East [Bhagavan's mission] are remarkable. To begin with, Bhagavan himself was born on a day 13 Ahau (March 7, 1949), which in the Mayan calendar is a much-prophesied energy of enlightenment. Second, Bhagavan's teaching about the deadline for the enlightenment of humanity by the year 2012 is an independently arising confirmation of the validity of the Mayan calendar's deadline for the completion of the cosmic plan. The most advanced ancient spiritual traditions of the West and the East, the Mayan and the Vedic, have been unified in a common framework for understanding the future of humanity."
It is part of the cosmic plan for humanity to move into the Golden Age and be free of the ancient unenlightened mind of the previous three Yugas. This will mark the end of the tremendous suffering that humanity has experienced for millennia. There will be no more separation between the spiritual heart and the mind and humanity will experience peace and harmony on a world-wide scale never before seen in recorded history.

[1] Mukti means liberation, salvation, enlightenment. A Mukti Avatar is someone who has the spiritual capacity, the spiritual power to give people enlightenment.Sri Bhagavan is also known to be Mukti Avatar.
[2] An Avatar is a divine incarnation. The divine consciousness takes on a human body in order to help all of mankind. Bhagavan and his wife Amma are both Mukti Avatars. The MD, PhD kinesiologist, David R. Hawkins has placed Avatars at 1000 or more on his scale of consciousness as reported in his book, Power Vs. Force.
[3] In Vedic cosmology the spiral of time repeatedly expresses itself in 4 Yugas or Ages: Sat Yuga (Golden Age); Treta Yuga (Silver Age); Dwarpa Yuga (Copper Age); and Kali Yuga (Dark Age) listed in order of decreasing spiritual light or increasing disconnection from the divine consciousness.
[4] Sampoorna means complete and it refers to an Avatar who has the full flowering of the divine consciousness of Light, Love, Wisdom and Spiritual Power.

Healing Relationships Brings Happiness & True Love

“Your greatest guru is the one who causes the maximum trouble in a relationship,” declared the gentle but powerful Sri Samadarshini, Director, Oneness University.
Sri Samadarshini: powerful insights Sri Samadarshini: powerful insights A human being has five primary relationships: with parents, spouse, children, self, and God. Of these the relationship with the spouse is the most complex and demanding. A common cause for the deterioration in marriage is the unresolved hurt engendered between the partners. Her guidelines for resolving hurts and healing relationships include acceptance of the situation, looking at the other in the eye when he/she speaks, feeling for the other and experiencing their pain (pray for strength, she advised) and finally response (not reaction). Sri Samadarshini’s mantra for healing relationships: “Put the other person’s happiness before yours. True love is possible only when giving.”

Moving on to one’s relationships with parents, she explained that all relationships in life reflected one’s relationships with one’s parents. Even failure in disparate events in a person’s life such as career, finance, and relationships are attributed to dysfunctional relationships with one’s parents.

Sri Samadarshini said that parents play a vital role in shaping their child’s destiny. She exhorted parents to treat their children as “kings and queens” until seven years of age (no to discipline!), and most important, to treat them with respect. From the ages of seven to 14, they were to be treated as, “princes and princesses”, where discipline is applied with love and honesty, never harshly or with punitive methods. From the ages of 14-21, parents need to treat children as their friends and as an equal thereafter.

Relationships with oneself and the Divine are higher order relationships that are indicative of the flowering of individual consciousness. “Relate to the Divine in any way that comes naturally to you,” said Sri Samadarshini. Her insights and powerful presence were so trans formative that the visibly moved participants, many of them with tears in their eyes, gave her a standing ovation.

Year 2012 Importance Mayan Calendar Code

Mayan Calendar Code for detailed 2012 information.
Will 2012 bring the end of the world -- or something wonderful for humanity -- or nothing at all?

Until you know for sure, you may sometimes feel like you're life is on hold until December 21, 2012, finally rolls around?

A parade of books, films, documentaries and literally thousands of web sites cast the ancient Maya and the Mayan calendar in the role of harbingers of doom and foretellers of the end of the world.

The Pot's Been Simmering For Years...

cosmic soupCan you imagine peeling potatoes and onions, cutting up carrots, shelling some nice peas and then throwing it all in the pot with a heap of garbage?

Then throwing in a few rusty bolts, some gravel, some dirt and a few handfuls of gooey slime, light the fire and simmer for twenty years.

Would you eat that?

You may be without realizing it. Well... not literally but perhaps metaphorically when you come across information and accept it without knowing if it's fact or fiction... no matter the source.

Divine Lovers Sri Bhagavan's Message to Mumbai

Divine Lovers Sri Bhagavan's Message to Mumbai
"What can we do as individuals in the face of inhuman violence, terrorism?"

We wake up to another day's revenge, retribution and rancor . The violence and brutality that surrounds us is the result of the destructive effect of fragmentation - one individual against another, one group against another, religiously, socially, culturally and economically. We are brothers and sisters, children of the same mother, inheritors of the same collective destiny. What we do to another, we do to ourselves. Why then do we behave as though we are inhuman warring tribal factions? How can we hunt or kill another? Is not the experience of pain same for all? Do not all living beings dread fear? How then can we perpetrate violence and pain on another? Will we today take the time to teach our children that division in any name whether sacred or secular is a crime? Will we tell them that we are human beings and not labels that divide us? Will we in this moment of crisis mould their young minds to be citizens of the world and not narrow bigots?

Ideological differences are at the root of the violence that is robbing sanity and endangering survival. When we become concerned with our own individual survival, with the survival of our group, our belief, we are being divisive and threaten the actual survival of the whole.

Let us have a deeper insight into truth. The violence and conflict we are witnessing is a dramatization of the unspeakable inner violence of humanity. We are not individuals, separate. What happens to us happens to all of humanity, all of life. Physically we might live isolated in our secluded homes, screening our domestic violence from the eyes of the world but psychologically we are inseparable from the whole of mankind. The poisonous fumes of our inner turbulence seep through the collective consciousness of humanity. The violence within us, between parents and children, husbands and wives, brothers and sisters and at work is the very source of danger and destruction.

Let each one of us respond with a sense of immediacy. Let all of us, the atheist and the God fearing, the peasant at the plough and the mother beside the cradle, the office goer and the laborer, let us all own responsibility for what is happening around us. What ‘can' we do as individuals now? What ‘must' we as individuals do now?

How can each of us be content to see some heroes and professionals sacrificing their lives to protect the safety of others while we remain passive onlookers watching the drama of terror unfold right in front of our eyes? The specialists, whether from the armed forces or the political systems can alleviate the pain of the moment. They can remove the symptom but the cause of the violence lies simmering within our consciousness. It lurks as conflict, suppressed anger, divisiveness and spite within every one of us. Until this issue is addressed, violence would continue to unfold in the world's nations in one name or the other. The real solution therefore is to turn our attention inward, can we recognize the violence within and give way to peace. Even if 10 million among us who belong to a nation of 1 billion will get into peace, violence will subside. If 10 millions will move into a higher state of consciousness, a state of total inner non-violence, peace and wellbeing would be possible. Though the causes of violence would continue to exist, they will not translate into acts of violence. We are the triggers of violence or peace. We cannot return to business as usual without steering away from our own inner strife.

The destiny of every human being known and unknown is tied up with us. In the crucible of terror that surrounds us, let us recast ourselves into a new generation of human beings. Let us move from the dark night of division towards the dawn of co-operation and Oneness. There is light at the end of the tunnel.

How to Heal Relationship Problems Krishnaraj Dasaji

How to Heal Relationship Problems --- Krishnaraj Dasaji
When having relationship problems, you need to actually start opening up to yourself, because there is a very major part of ourselves that we're not aware of. What we have failed to see about ourselves is a major portion of our lives, and that has to be unveiled and has to experienced.Amma Bhagavan's grace will help you unveil it and help you experience it.

People also must know that they're not being subjected to a punishment or some kind of mental torture. It is more like a healing process to help them. This knowledge can help you to actually experience the whole process without resisting or fighting it.

Every time you go through a relationship problem, you actually get to see more of yourself. It's not that you're getting to see something about the other person, you're only getting to see that side of you that is hurt, that which wants love, which wants attention, which cannot forgive, which's not accepted, which feels rejected.

When you say you have a relationship problem, please understand that you are not having a problem with the relationship or the other person; you are only having a problem within yourself.

As you start facing the truth of your own resistance; it starts the melting of it under the heat of your awareness.

Sri Acharya Samadarshiniji on Hurt Only Attracts Hurt

Publication: Times of India, Mumbai dated 22nd October 2008, Section: Times City, Page Number: 6
‘Hurt only attracts hurt, so we heal the root'

Sri Acharya Samadarshiniji is a senior disciple of Sri Bhagavan and Amma, the founders of Oneness University, a center for human transformation based outside Chennai. Acharya Samadarshiniji tells Roana Costa that while other universities teach you to survive, the Oneness University teaches you to live.

Q. How is the Oneness University different from other universities?

A. The Oneness University is a university for universities. It is a place where students the world over, young and old, come to learn life. In conventional schools you learn to survive, at Oneness University you learn to live. Education as it is today is destroying the child. It equips one with enough information to earn a qualification but doesn't instill the passion to learn. Most engineers don't know the actual of learning, they know enough to write a question-and-answer examination. This is reflected in the architecture of the houses in Mumbai. They are painful to look at since they have no sense of beauty or creativity. Education today lacks feeling.

Q. How would you define education?

A. The word education comes from the word educate, which means to bring forth what is already within. The ultimate purpose of education is to bring out the potential within. In the process of learning, we become competitive and so comparison enters. I believe that people at any age should be able to learn. The child should be exposed to some of the greatest minds and not teachers who mouth texts. Subjects like history become interesting when a teacher delves into the mind of humanity and talk about great ideas rather than just wars of the past. Subjects like maths can be made fascinating if a great mind converts it into images. If we can achieve this, education will go along way. We should record great minds and have video sessions. However, I am not saying that we should dispense with teachers.

Q. What do teachers need to bring into the classroom?

A. For most teachers teaching is just a job and not a passion. In a way you can't blame them because their salaries aren't a lot. Since they are busy trying to survive they can't concentrate on bringing out the best in a student. Our system is fundamentally flawed. Teachers need to be trained, and at Oneness we have programmers for teachers. We address them as individuals and awaken the responsibility in them. We show

them how to enter the world of a student and make them realize that all students aren't the same.

Q. Most schools have a subject called Moral Science. What are your views on this?

A. When I was in class three, we were told to relate one act of goodness that we did every day. This exercise didn't educate us, as most of us ended up lying in moral science. My teacher never communicated feeling, as she herself didn't learn the lessons on compassion. Students need to have video sessions on people who have struggled to show how goodness was born in them.

Q. How do you teach people living at Oneness University?

A. We conduct programmes for corporates and seekers from all over the world. We take people through processes just like a caterpillar goes through a process to become a butterfly. At Oneness we take people through a process to heal the pain and show them how to deal with it. Hurts in relationships have repetitive patterns as they settle in the unconscious. Hurt attracts the hurts. At Oneness we heal the hurt at the unconscious level and heal the root. For example if a person has a bad relationship with his or her mother, then he or she will have problems with women. The world is full of troubled people-you can't spread a carpet, but one can wear slippers.

Q. Do you think holistic education could prevent terrorism?

A. Terrorism can be prevented. It occurs because of poverty, lack of formal education, hurt from society that is discrimination on the basis of caste and religion, hurt by life which one can't deal with, and lack of vision for life. We have worked on 900 young people from AP between 16 and 30 years and prevented them from becoming Naxals. IAS officers brought them to us. For terrorism to stop, we need education to spread and increase opportunities of learning.

Q. What causes anger inside people?

A. Anger comes from internal struggle and that manifests as anger against other people. If you try to forget anger, it comes out at the slightest provocation. The core issue that needs to be addressed is non-acceptance or inadequacy. Aggression that comes from non-acceptance is painful as it is rebellion and not an honest need to grow. Happiness is acceptance in oneself and when you can make a difference to someone Else's life. Happiness comes when you serve someone, whereas pleasure comes from serving oneself.

Set Right Your Vision Everything Will Be Right

Sharing a mail; read on good one;

Dear friends,

How are you? I am good and happy. What Bhagavan and Amma told me is set right your Vision, everything else I will take care. We don't know what is right for us. All our seeking is desperation to get out of the present condition. Amma Bhagavan can decide better what to give us. Just do what they say. I have attached with this mail an extract from our team 150 teachings. It will help you in setting right your vision. Work on it and stick to Amma Bhagavan in moments of despair. Every thing else will take care of itself. If India has to change every Youth should have a vision. We should find out our purpose in life.

Thanks & regards,

amma bhagwan sharanam!

R.R. Mohan Kumar

Dear friends,

Below is an extract from Team 150 Teachings. It will help us all, if we work upon it. We all feel that our country is in a mess. We know everything is wrong about it. Who is to blame? the corrupt politicians or the in-able administrators or the insensitive Businessmen. Who is the reason behind it? The nation is nothing but a representation of our selves. Let us check if there is a direction to our life before rethinking the fate of our nation. What is our life? Where are we going? Is there any purpose to it? What ever our answer is, so is our nation. What can we do to change it? Let us know that if each one of we youths have direction to our life and discover and hold on to our vision then our nation will automatically change. Our Nation is not separate from us.

VISION

FIND YOUR VISION

Check List for our Vision.

  1. We should have a permanent and Lifetime Vision - For example: Look at Bhagavan's Vision. His Vision is to make man Happy. His vision is oriented towards the next thousand's of years when man would still be happy. If ours is also like that it's good. But still at the least let us have a vision where we would work for through our life.

Our Vision should be Wide. If we have problem identifying it. Talk to relevant people and gather information and see what interests you. What do you think or consider as being the Best thing to do. Mostly our own experience in this world would be sufficient to determine what our Vision is.

For working through our life there are 2 factors or conditions. Or else what ever our vision is it will take a max of only 2 years. And if we don't set right our vision we will convert this 2 years vision to a life time vision. This is very slow progress & growth rate just like our Nation.

2 Factors for a Vision:

    1. Contribution (To help others) - It is a never ending process. We can keep contributing through our life. Ex: Again Bhagavan. You can contribute in any field that interests you. It is our choice.
    2. Growth - Learning is the most important thing in this world. To contribute we have to learn.

Split the Vision into Long Term and Short Term: How are we going to achieve it. What do we have to learn in the process? Since Growth is also a factor, we have to see what we have to learn to achieve it. How are we to develop ourselves to be capable of achieving it?

There should be details in the Vision - Time and year for achieving each step and the final vision.

The Vision should be split up into Short Term Goals. Because to climb a ladder first we have to climb each step. These goals should be wholesome including Career (Wealth, growth, etc.), academics (Learning), relationship (Very important to enjoy life), health and Spirituality (Complete dedication in whatever we are doing). Also our Vision should depend on us and not on others.

Our effort is required for all the above factors. Which is what we can we do. Any attempt or effort in the above direction will enhance the following.

Amma Bhagavan's Blessing. When we do all the above, we realize that there would be many things which are beyond our control and not possible by us. For what is not possible by us, there is Amma Bhagavan and for what is possible they have given us life and whatever we have. When these both are interlinked our life becomes a miracle.

Remember we have to become our Vision. And that is Amma Bhagavan's Vision.

Daily Morning (Immediately after waking up) and Night (Before going to Sleep) think and Visualize about your Vision. No harm if you can think about it in other times too.

My vision was focused on Significance. I changed it to Contribution and growth and my life became a miracle.

Those who are planning on attending Amma's Personal darshan please work on this. Be clear in what you have to ask Amma.

Others, Work on this and you will know the need to meet Amma.

Contemplative Questions

Here is a set of questions that would provoke you and put you through some soul searching. They are not about religion nor about ethics. They are merely about you.

They are not meant to serve as solutions nor are they meant to lead you anywhere. These questions are meant to serve as tools to discovering yourself.

1) Do you perceive the Presence of a benevolent force guiding, protecting and shaping your life? What name do you give that Presence? When did you best feel this Presence?

2) What is your opinion of God? Is your opinion drawn from religion, books, parents and or your personal experience of life?

3) Do you pray? Do they get answered? How often?

4) Do you think it is possible to relate to the Divine? What relationship would you opt?

5) Here is a story for you - Two fierce enemies once did a penance to placate god and receive boons vying with each other. God appeared to the first man and asked what he wanted. He said "give me twice of whatever you give my enemy". Then God appeared to the second one. Even before God could say anything he asked, "God, would you please tell me what my enemy asked for? On knowing his prayer request, he said, "then God, blind me in one eye."
Now what would you wish for yourself, your best friend and your worst enemy if God gave you a chance?

6) Have you ever experienced a coincidence or chance that seems to have involved so many people and factors that you can't stop wondering if a mastermind was behind this operation? If yes, do you savour the experience often and have you shared it with someone close to you?
